One of our most prominent members was recently interviewed on KCFR about a once-in-a-lifetime project he's shooting. James Balog is taking some of the first time-lapse pictures of melting glaciers. The Boulder-based photographer says it's the best way to see climate change in action. An exhibit of Balog's photographs are on display at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Here ares some links to pictures and some video.

ASMP Colorado mourns the passing of Lifetime Member Robert "Bob" Koropp of Golden. Bob was a founding member of this chapter, a gifted and prolific artist, and an avid skier. Educated at Northwestern University and The Art Center in Los Angeles, Bob changed careers from chemistry to photography, and serviced Colorado's biggest corporations. In 1989, Koropp's award winning book "Denver: The City Rises" was completed, followed by "Space Camp: The Great Adventure for NASA Hopefuls" in 1992.
