PrintMaster Seminar with George Lepp - Nov 8


During this intensive workshop you will learn how to produce fine-art quality prints that meet or exceed your expectations for conventional custom prints.

You will be learning from one of the best: Canon PrintMaster George Lepp who has won numerous awards for his work, and who teaches digital photography, printing, and lighting techniques to photographers throughout the country. George will share his expertise in: how the iPF printer fits into the workflow, monitor profiling, Canon driver/export module operation, media selection, and optimizing your settings for the best prints. Prints made on various media from Canon, Hahnemühle, Innova and Moab will be available for inspection. These products are available from Santa Fe Camera Center. The $40 seminar fee includes a $50 gift certificate that may be used toward the purchase of Canon products valued at $500 or more.

ASMP Event: Sports Journalism for Students - Nov 25




The 4th Annual Seminar in Sports Photojournalism sponsored by the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, Rich Clarkson & Assoc., and the American Society of Media Photographers, Colorado.

Designed for high school and college students interested in careers in sports photojournalism, this year's seminar will feature top professionals lecturing and offering portfolio reviews and career counseling to attendees. There will be a competition for high school photographers sponsored by Nikon Inc. in which the best student-produced sports picture from this fall will receive one of the latest Nikon professional digital cameras. In addition, the school attended by the winner will also receive a similar camera.

It will take place at the Denver Newspaper Agency auditorium (101 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO, 80202) the evening of Tuesday, November 25. The event is being organized by Rich Clarkson and Associates, a Denver multimedia company, for CSHOF.

AIPAD, the Association of International Photography Art Dealers, was mentioned at our last Chapter event: Fine Art photographer Thomas Werner at Brent Ward's studio.
