Shooting On-site: Getting Up-close and Personal

Da Vinci Capers ~ A Personal Renaissance Journey will host Massimo Bassano, a freelance international photojournalist, for a one week* photographic workshop on May 21-May27, 2009, in Boulder, Colorado.

In his return Colorado appearance, Massimo shares with us how photographers can capture that exceptional photo when they become part of the scene they are photographing and "touch" the lives of their subjects, rather than just watching them through a lens.

His words and photographs have graced major magazines around the world such as National Geographic, GEO, Ciclismo, and MAX France. In January, 2007, National Geographic Traveler noted Massimo as one of the top 17 photographers in Italy with his centerfold of Atrani, and once again in April, 2010, in the feature article, “A Taste of Amalfi”, his photographs gracing the cover and inside.

Besides working with Da Vinci Capers, Massimo teaches for National Geographic and Maine Media Workshops. Come join us for a new adventure and a rare opportunity in photography to learn from one of our top photographers. For more information, contact Barbara Hardesty at (303) 284-1383, or e-mail: [email protected].

*Optional: 1 day, 2 day Technical Intensive, 5 day Shoot/Critique or 7 day combination workshop.
